Born and bred in northern England, Michael Dainton's career as a Master Saddler spans several decades and includes work for the English Royal Family.
These days, Michael can be found at Saddlers Row working on everything from state-of-the-art dressage bridles to 150-year-old sidesaddles using hand tools even older than that.
Recognized by the Society of Master Saddlers in the United Kingdom, for his 4-1/2 year apprenticeship training at Bart J. Snowball in Newcastle, England, Michael Dainton combines old-world methods with modern technology to repair, alter, and restore saddles, strap goods, driving harness, and sidesaddles.
Michael along with his apprentice, Alice Corcoran, offer one-on-one consultations.
